Paper Clothes

For my final in Drawing II, I have been working on creating some paper clothes.
This is the first look that I created.
The top and skirt are both made of Bristol, which is a thick card-stock.  Everything in black was filled in with Sharpie markers.  (It took quite a few of them!)

This is the view from the back...

I have two more weeks to spend on this project and so I have started to work on a second outfit.  I decided to use paper with drawings from throughout the semester to construct this next piece.  Hopefully, I'll make some progress on that and have photos up soon.

Loss & Consequences Galley Show

Tonight was the opening of the "Loss & Consequences" show at Case[werks] Showroom & Gallery in Baltimore.
The show was filled with MICA student work, relating to the theme of drunk driving.
....
And my Drunk Driver and Car Accident Barbie were displayed!

They looked so great in the fancy glass cases with dramatic lighting.  It was so exciting to see my work in a real gallery!  Hopefully, this was just the first of many shows to come.
